I've noticed Joanne walking around town. She's always very fashionable. Today I stopped to chat and found out that she moved here from Texas where she was married to the owner of a chain of health clubs. We talked about all kinds of things. She told me she is much older than she looks and then apologized for having to take a phone call.

I don't understand this phone to the ear thing. What did the people do before cell phones came out. I have to guess they sucked their thumb.
