Spotted in a theater courtyard, part of this weekend's Carmel Art & Film Festival. Cutouts created by the Los Angeles-based street art phenomenon Mr. Brainwash.
Einstein was never Carmel's mayor but Clint was..so I figured we could slide into
My World Tuesday

A cool name, a cool idea. Excellent.
Beautiful picture of the courtyard and I like the shadows from the trees. I hope you'll have a nice Sunday afternoon!
Albert should know!!
Oh, that crazy Einstein guy...I am a woman of science!
Great catch, LD! and a really good photo. I wish I'd had a chance to get down there. I understood various works by Mr. Brainwash were supposed to be "seeded" in unexpected places around Carmel. Great look at this one, and it is a cool piece, too.
Very creative.
LOL! "Mr. Brainwashed!"
That's great. It feels like Clint is right in my face. It would be a shocker wonder to round the corner and unexpectedly see that.
Dirty Harry! I love it! Nice find.
A very nice idea, simple and creative!
What a great blog you have; a good eye for composition, skill with the camera and a nice job of showing your community. I'm passionate about our state and will come back and will return to see more.
I'll have to see what this Mr Brainwash guy is all about.
And I agree with the about comment by Martha Z, you're doing a terrific job of revealing what the Monterey/Carmel area is all about.
It's always good to see the ever photogenic Clint Eastwood.
We visit your area every spring - usually bike along 17 Mile Drive. What a lovely place you call home! We've never seen Clint, though (or Einstein!).
What delightful shots! Love Albert in particular...
